Ecclesiastical, General

Contemporary design is competing strongly with traditional in the movement towards lighter and more open church interiors. It must however be sympathetic to existing architecture and be acceptable to clergy, committee and congregation. This presents a number of challenges for the architect or designer which must inevitably be met within a sometimes quite tight budget. I am happy to work with architects or provide plans myself and would follow any project through from submission and meetings to installation. What I feel is most important is the provision of bespoke design for each project. Standardisation can be convenient and cost effective in some areas like stacking congregation chairs but many other areas of the church may require a specific solution which is where my services are most suited.
